news.announce.newgroups news.announce.newgroups on Google Groups (n.a.n) is a moderated announcement group. In 1995, the Big 7 became the Big 8.

Since 2006, the Big 8 are managed by a Board and calls for votes have been replaced by Last Calls for Comments.
