  - TM posted the result. RL to inform the ISC so that the groups can be deleted.

  - Still awaiting confirmation from Greg Pfeil that approvals are working again. RL to write to Greg Pfeil asking if we can post an announcement now.
- comp.protocols.dns.bind
  - Last contact from Dan Mahoney on 2024-10-26. Agreed to defer consideration a while longer.
- rec.radio.broadcasting
  - TM posted the result. RL to inform the ISC so that the group can be deleted.
- comp.lang.asm.x86
  - No response yet to RL's message to three volunteers asking for an update. RL to ping the volunteers.
- news.groups.proposals
  - The group's signing key uses the e-mail address ngp-approval-key@ngp.big-8.org. Agreed to leave this as-is for now, as this is just an identifier. We can later consider adding a new identity with a new address, and/or upgrading to a GPGv2 key.
- comp.compression.research
  - TM still to prepare a group removal RFD.
- Moderated groups without moderators
  - Discussion of 1st RFD is continuing.
  - 2nd RFD due to be posted on 2025-01-31.
  - RL has been corresponding with with the user who volunteered to to moderate soc.genealogy.surnames.britain .

  - TM still to ping Tim Skirvin about moderating the group.
Infrastructure
- Status of cron jobs for offsite backups: No further update from RL.
- Remote monitoring
  - MM still liaising with Ivo Gandolfo to set up remote monitoring.
- Monitoring status check warning
  - RL was to have changed the domain in the From address for the status reports from mail.big-8.org to big-8.org to avoid future delivery errors. However, this proved to be inconvenient, so he instead added a DKIM record to mail.big-8.org. TM to report if there are any further delivery problems.
Software/funding
- TM: No update yet on GPG signing best practices on Savannah
- Thunderbird 128 contact deferred given Julien's comments on INN.
- TM still to respond to Julien.
- OTF IFF/NGI0/Sovereign Tech Fund: no further updates
Misc
- Paul Schleck proposals: no further progress.
- BDCAM25: RL and TM still to start discussing their talk via e-mail.
