The Board is now officially accepting applications for membership. The
following rules will apply:

   1. A maximum of four new members may be added to the Board.

   2. Applications will be accepted until 04 Oct 2007 at 15:00 CDT.

   3. Applications should be submitted via email to board@big-8.org.

   4. The identities of applicants will not be published without their
       consent.

   5. Each applicant will be voted on separately by the Board to determine
whether to consider the applicant for membership.

   6. If there are more applicants under consideration than the maximum, a
Single Transferable Vote election will be used to select which
applicants to appoint to the Board.

   7. The results of the selection process will be announced no more than
three weeks after this announcement is posted.

   8. Terms of new board members will expire on April 1st, 2009.
