                         remove comp.sources.sun

This is a formal Request For Discussion (RFD) to remove the moderated
newsgroup comp.sources.sun.


RATIONALE: Remove comp.sources.sun

The last approved message was in March 1992.

There are other more suitable means of distributing program sources, so
this comp.sources.sun is not a suitable candidate for conversion to an
unmoderated newsgroup.


HISTORY:

The newsgroup comp.sources.sun was created in April 1989, with the first
approved message in May 1989.  I could locate no charter for the
newsgroup.  The newsgroup line was:

  comp.sources.sun        Software for Sun workstations. (Moderated)
