      • RL has finished importing the FAQs, and the STUMP instance is already up and running, so we can now proceed with taking over moderation of the groups.
      • The original FAQs bore an unusual licence notice that suggests the content is in the public domain. RL to write to Kathy Morgan to confirm the licensing terms, and then if necessary add a licence statement to our version of the FAQs.
      • RL to contact the ISC to change the moderation address for the groups.
      • RL to look into which periodic FAQ postings we need to take over.
  • Infrastructure
    • RL has got the webmail and admin front-ends working again.
    • The server has been e-mailing us PHP error reports concerning the backup script. RL to investigate.
    • The server has been e-mailing us cryptic reports concerting the TLS certificate. RL to investigate.
    • There was a flood of large binary posts to various comp.* groups, including comp.ai, whose STUMP instance the Board hosts. TM cleared the offending submissions from STUMP's mbox archives and sent an abuse report to the originating server, GigaNews. RL observed that, if this becomes a more common occurrence, we could block large messages via procmail.
  • Software/funding
    • TM: No update yet on GPG signing best practices on Savannah
    • Funding proposal and further correspondence with Thunderbird on hold pending a response from Julien. TM to ping him.
    • RL had reviewed the NGI0 programs and confirmed that NGI Zero Commons seems most relevant to us.
    • TM reported that NGI project may lose funding after the current round.
  • Misc
    • Board enlargement
      • Two further candidates declined but offered recommendations for/consultation on other candidates. TM has replied to one and will reply to the other.
      • No response yet from JE concerning last week's candidate. TM to send him a reminder.
    • TM wrote to the editor of TUGboat regarding a report in their 45(1) issue on the demise of comp.text.tex comp.text.tex on Google Groups, which she had attributed to the shuttering of Google Groups. The editor responded with an offer to print the letter or alternatively a full-length article. RL to draft an article based on TM's letter.
