- TM and MM have sent FAQ revisions to RL. RL to apply the changes and circulate a final version before posting.
- comp.lang.asm.x86
- The Board received an e-mail indicating that the moderator has died. RL replied asking for more details on moderation team and setup.
- RL noted that the moderation e-mail uses a domain from Terje Mathisen, who may be hosting the moderation system. RL to contact him to get further details on the moderation setup, including whether he's willing to continue hosting it or even take over as moderator.
- In the meantime, RL to post an MVI.

- Infrastructure
- The Board's e-mail and web hosting at Contabo was down on 2–3 September due to a site-wide outage at one of their data centres.
- MM noted that our e-mail and web hosting have no IPv6 support. MM offered to investigate and rectify this. TM to send MM credentials to our hosting account.
- TM suggested we periodically make external backups of the data on our Contabo and Panix accounts. MM has arranged for an offsite server. MM/RL to produce cron jobs to automatically back up the data using rsync or similar. TM may conduct his own independent backups.
- MM noticed the Board's Junk folder was getting large. TM set an auto-expiry in his mail client to 180 days.
- Software/funding
- TM: No update yet on GPG signing best practices on Savannah
- Thunderbird 128 contact deferred given Julien's comments on INN.
- TM still to respond to Julien.
- RL has not yet had a chance to examine the NGI application forms, though TM said that at this point it's unlikely we'd make its deadline.
- RL looked a bit more into the Sovereign Tech Fund into this and found that the minimum funding is €50K. Also, they don't fund user-facing applications, so we could probably not apply the funding to things like newsreader development.
- Misc
- TUGboat article
- MM made some contributions
- TM replied to an e-mail from Karl Berry and TUGboat and informed him that we'll be submitting an article
- Paul Schleck proposals: No progress.
- DigiCAM25 (a.k.a. BDCAM25)
- We received notification of acceptance of our panel.
- RL to contact the organizers to inquire about the event setup with a view to determining whether he could attend in person or remotely. RL to inform TM about this, and TM to poll Katie and Avery and then inform the organizers whether the panel will be in-person or online (or maybe hybrid, if this is allowed).
