Types of articles accepted (but not limited to) Questions and discussion about the seven promises, integrating them into daily life. Types of articles not accepted (not limited to) Sermons, book reviews, and commercial posts. Moderation Policy: The news group soc.religion.christian.promisekeepers will be moderated for the purpose of ensuring that postings adhere to the purpose of the New Group Charter, and the Approved Rules for Posting. The Moderation will be solely for the purpose of maintaining orderly discussions about Promise Keepers, and preventing: Profane or abusive language. Personal attacks on other posters. Crossposting. Large posts, >300 lines. High Volume Postings, >600 lines from any poster within 72 hours. Anonymous postings, or messages from invalid email addresses. Postings which disagree with, or question the Promise Keepers will be permitted as long as they adhere to the orderly discussion rules above. The moderators will require the postings to be in standard USENET posting format, specifically (1) postings shall be legible (2) less than 50% quote text (3) less than 80 characters per line as well as the above guidelines. HISTORY OF THE GROUP: soc.religion.christian.promisekeepers is a moderated newsgroup which passed its vote for creation by 252:111 as reported in news.announce.newgroups on 6 Dec 1996.
