The Big-8 Management Board has agreed to the moderator's request to remove 
the newsgroup soc.culture.ethiopia.moderated.

Subject to major developments that may cause the Board to change its
decision, the group will be removed on 01 Jun 2006.


RATIONALE: soc.culture.ethiopia.moderated

I agreed to moderate and admin this group after being asked by the
person responsible for it after the hosting arrangements changed. I
set it up on Russ' box around 1999 I think, with his permission. This
has never been a very successful group however and the person who
asked me to help has been difficult to contact even in the early
days. There actually hasn't been more than a handful of active posts
in all that time and the only posts are an automated mailing list
which hasn't had any content for some time and autoposted spam. I
have removed the mailing list from the group in the hope that zero
posts will trigger the old organiser to contact me but this is most
definitely a dead group.
