It's a forum to ask questions and share information about installing, administering, using, and developing the system. Discussion of the original Plan 9 from Bell Labs as well as all forks, derivitives, or otherwise related systems are on topic. Plan 9 was originally developed by Bell Labs, in the same lab and by many of the same people behind Unix. Thanks to the Plan 9 Foundation, all Plan 9 releases are now available as Open Source under the MIT license.
